Well...this day was a great day,got no stress. While our native speaker a.k.a Richard being so nice this day. NO!Not that SAUSAGES. We began our class with playing TABOO, and like usual team 1 always lose. HOW POOR WE ARE. But it doesn't matter cuz we were doing well to describe sentences. Then,we talked about CULTURE.He told us what was HALLOWEEN where is it come from,and what they do at that
unlhealthy holiday in America. LOT'S OF CANDIES OF COURSE (i'm thinking of a big cotton candy and eat it all for one night). HOW WOULD MY TOOTH BE?-_-٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶ just forget it..Then we talked about Cultures in Medan,Sumatra and Indonesia. Last but not least,he wanted us to told him what were American culture.
IT'S IRONIC!!CUZ WE KNEW ALMOST ALL AMERICAN CULTURE!WE KNEW AMERICAN CULTURE MUCH MORE THAN INDONESIAN! HOW WOULD INDONESIAN CULTURE BE?HOW COULD WE MAKE OUR COUNTRY BECOME A DEVELOPED ONE? AND WE CAN'T GET ANGRY(is it the right word?) TO OTHER COUNTRY WHICH STOLE OUR CULTURE AND CLAIMED IT AS THEIRS.
For Example, Malaysia claimed pendet's dance as theirs,we got mad,but we didn't do anything,STUPID. in the other hand, we always blame the government about the claimed cultures,while we (As the citizen) don't care about it,we never want to know and learn it. Tourists interested by our culture.We have the biggest vary of culture in every different places. FROM NOW ON,I SUGGEST YOU AND MYSELF TO LEARN ABOUT OUR CULTURE,PAY ATTENTION TO THEM AND TRY TO PROMOTE IT TO OTHER COUNTRY. and don't be shame to wear batik,percaya atau nggak,bule udh pada ngeburu batik loh! LOOK UP INDONESIANS!CHANCES ARE SPREAD,KNOW IT,LEARN IT,AND PROMOTE IT.
